Por mi tendencia a abrazar el cambio, yo soy un «early adopter» en muchas áreas. El uso de herramientas 2.0 es una de ellas. Tener un blog siendo emprendedor, viejo y no siendo un ‘techie’ también. De todos mis amigos más cercanos ninguno tiene un blog. Es más, ninguno siquiera lee blogs habitualmente!

Cuando yo les conté que había empezado con «Riesgo y Recompensa», no me lo dijeron pero a todos les pareció una pavada. Cuando les cuento con entusiasmo cómo nunca voy a ganar un peso con esto, pero cómo voy alcanzando mis metas en cuanto a que gente lo lea y se suscriba, son amables y no me dicen lo tonto que les resulta. Pero ambos lo sabemos.

Por eso me resultó genial cuando durante el viaje a Silicon Valley escuché de alguien la frase: «Being early feels a lot like being wrong, for a while» («Hacer algo tempranamente se siente muy parecido a estar equivocado, por un tiempo»).

Describe muy bien lo equivocados que nos sentimos los «early adopters» una buena parte del tiempo. Creo que no aplica sólo a tecnología.

  3. Me pasa lo mismo Santiago, yo empece con esto de mi blog hace poco, al principio, ni posteaba, ahora le doy mas manija, aunque mis conocidos solo lo leen y no te dejan un comentario siquiera, yo lo sigo trabajando para sacarlo lo mejor posible.

    Lo bueno es que sirva para poder comentar lo que sentis mas alla de que te lean o no.

    En cualquier ambito sucede lo mismo, si empezas a realizar actividades en un grupo donde por ejemplo son todos futboleros y vos te empezas a dedicar al aeromodelismo con una fuerte conviccion, al principio, te van a mirar con caras raras, pero despues terminan armando modelos de Piper´s con vos.

    Lo importante es enfocarse en algo que te guste y sirva, no solo para ganar dinero o hacerlo rentable, sino para conocer otros ambitos que te enriquecen en otras cosas.

    También apareció OfficeNet (con su soul y ahora con sus versiones mejoradas); el FLOG de Openware, y paremos de contar.

    Ahora vamos por las Conferencias Interamericanas del BID, pero como «later adopter» del blog como medio de promoción, participación y conversación.
